Parks Climate Challenge 2009
North Cascades Institute
This summer, 19 high school students from five cities spent a month in the North Cascades. They hiked to glaciers, swam with bull trout, dodged thunderstorms and witnessed the impacts of climate change. The group was also introduced to documentary storytelling and given an audio recorder and two cameras to chronicle the experience.
