The National Park Service makes every effort to keep the public informed about news events, special and recurring events, projects, and accomplishments which occur within and around the units of the Park Service.

Approximately 90% (5.8 million acres) of Noatak National Preserve is designated wilderness, making it the fourth largest wilderness in the United States. It is the largest area with an indigenous name.
