Vacant Agricultural/Hay Lease at Ninety Six National Historic Site

Ninety Six, SC: Ninety Six National Historic Site is seeking a lessee to harvest hay in the park. The agricultural lease program is intended to maintain the historic setting.

Approximately 85 acres of agricultural lands will be leased through a Special Use Permit. The permit will be issued for a period of 1 year. The park will accept bids until 5:00 PM on Friday, April 10. All bids should be sent to Administrative Officer, Sheila O'Dell at e-mail us or via mail to Administrative Officer, Kings Mountain NMP, 2625 Park Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702.The highest bid will be awarded the contract.

In permitting agricultural use of National Park Service lands, Ninety Six National Historic Site is required to foster practices, which conserve soil, protect natural and archeological resources, control exotic plant species, and avoid toxic contamination of the environment.
