June through August, scheduled Interpretive Ranger Programs are held at Smith Falls State Park (19 miles east of Valentine, NE) on Saturday evenings.
Ranger guided walks are provided at Fort Niobrara Wildlife Refuge (4 miles east of Valentine, NE) on Sunday mornings.
