Regional Office Regional Director and Staff

Northeast Region is headed by Dennis Reidenbach, Northeast Regional
Director, who leads a regional office staff of over 300 and
more than 3000 more National Park Service employees throughout
the 76 National Park System units in the Northeast. |

Composition
of the Regional Office Staff
The employees
of the regional office represent a wide range of technical fields
including: anthropologists, archeologists,
architects, archivists, biologists, cartographers, community planners,
concessions managers, contract specialists, curators, ecologists,
educators, employee development specialists, engineers, environmental
protection specialists, facility managers, fire management specialists,
geologists, GIS specialists, historians, human resources specialists,
hydrologists, interpreters, IT specialists, landscape architects,
law
enforcement specialists, legislative specialists, natural resource
planners, park rangers, partnership experts, and outdoor recreation
planners.
The Northeast Regional Office staff includes a mix of those with
long career histories in the National Park Service, some
with extensive private sector experience, and some that are new
to the agency. They serve parks, heritage areas, partners,
and communities throughout the region with direct technical support,
maximizing the efficient use of limited resources.
