How you can help
Your national parks welcome and are grateful for assistance from the public. There are many examples from all over the country of individuals who have donated their skills or funds--sometimes both--to a park that has special meaning for them. From families who leave a part of their estate to a park, to people who organize a school program, clean a beach or make a contribution to help pay for the restoration of an historic building--people are thinking more and more of the National Park Service as a worthy receipient. People contribute for many reasons -- in memory of a loved one, in lieu of a wedding or birthday gift, to make memories or simply because the want to give something back to a park. One place to start is to click on the "Support Your Park" link on the park's Web site. More...
