Glen Jean, West Virginia, June 19, 2014— Nature is around every corner, especially in the Bluestone River Gorge. Now that summer is officially here, explore life and history with a park ranger on a guided hike along the Bluestone River onSaturday, June 21 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. This leisurely, river-side walk is a fun way to experience the out-of-doors and learn about the natural world that surrounds us. This program is also a good place to find out more about the people who shaped our past too. Meet at the base of the Pipestem Resort State Park tramway for this 2.0 mile round-trip walk into the Bluestone National Scenic River. Bring $2.00 for the return tram ride. Wear comfortable walk shoes for this guided walk.
