The staff at New River Gorge National Park and Preserve also manages two other nearby units of the national park system: Bluestone National Scenic River and Gauley River National Recreation Area. Park headquarters is centrally located in Glen Jean, with employees stationed there and throughout the park. Work groups include Management, Administration, Maintenance Resource Management, Visitor Protection, and Interpretation and Visitor Services.
