Volunteer
|
Every year, across the country, volunteers devote thousands of hours of their time to units of the National Park Service. At Nez Perce National Historical Park and Big Hole National Battlefield, volunteers help out at the parks visitor centers, do programs for visitors and children, and even help out in natural resource projects. If you are interested in finding out about volunteer opportunities here at the park, send us an e-mail indicating your interests and the volunteer coordinator will get back with you. |
Did You Know?
Salmon is a sacred fish for the Nez Perce. It is sustained them for thousands of years and has shaped their culture and religion. Today the Nez Perce Tribe is playing a leading role in the restoration of wild Salmon runs in the Columbia River Plateau.
