Nez Perce National Historical Park
Volunteer

Every year, across the country, volunteers devote thousands of hours of their time to units of the National Park Service. At Nez Perce National Historical Park and Big Hole National Battlefield, volunteers help out at the parks visitor centers, do programs for visitors and children, and even help out in natural resource projects. If you are interested in finding out about volunteer opportunities here at the park, send us an e-mail indicating your interests and the volunteer coordinator will get back with you.

The Nez Perce often travelled great distances to fish with family and friends. They fished as far away as present day Willamette Falls, near Oregon City as well as Celilo and Kettle Falls to the north.
