Our Partners

Nez Perce National Historical Park has a host of partners across the region that provide advice and assistance in managing certain sites in the park. At every level, Tribal govenments, other federal agencies, and local institutions provide advice and assistance in preserving and protecting sites associated with the history and culture of the Nez Perce. Some of these partners include:

Tribal Governments:

Nez Perce Tribe
Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation
Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation

Other Government Agencies:

Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest

Other Area Organizations:

Nez Perce Trail Foundation
North Central Idaho Travel Association
Northwest Passage Scenic Byway
Tamástslikt Cultural Institute

Non-Profit Associations:

The Fund for People in Parks was established in 2014 to provide financial assistance and professional services to complete inspirational projects that enhance the visitor experience in western National Parks. The Fund works closely with park staff and Discover Your Northwest (cooperating association) to bring private philanthropic support to projects that might not otherwise be funded. Support their mission by donating.
