Nez Perce National Historical Park
Places

"We fish in rivers our Grandfathers fished in long before the arrival of Columbus. We dig roots in meadows our grandmothers dug before the rise of the Roman Empire. We live in the place our ancestors called home before the Great Pyramids of Egypt were built"

-Nez Perce Tribal Executive Committee

The Nez Perce have a special relationship with the lands they call home. Nez Perce National Historical Park, along with its Tribal partners, works to preserve these special and sacred places and honor the stories that are associated with them.
