YAP! (Youth Ambassador Program) members will perform live tracks from their album "Edutainment Movement" and their newly released song "North Star" from the reality documentary "The North Star Journey" from 6:00-6:30 PM in the national park garden for AHA! night, Thurs., July 10. From 6:30-7:30 PM DJ John Gotem will continue the party and spin YAP! songs and positive, kid-friendly music in the garden. Sing along and put on your dancing shoes!AHA! (Art, History, Architecture) is a FREE arts & culture event which takes place the 2nd Thursday of every month in Downtown New Bedford. This month's theme is Kids Rule!

That same evening, from 6-8pm, you can join Ruth & Abby, the national park's 1850s ladies, for fish clip crafts. These "fish clips" can be worn in your hair or used to hold papers together. Decorate the fish to look real or whimsical. This event takes place atNew Bedford Whaling National Historical Park's visitor center, 33 William Street, downtown New Bedford.As always, admission is free.

New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park was established by Congress in 1996 to help preserve and interpret America's nineteenth century whaling industry.The park, which encompasses a 13-block National Historic Landmark District, is the only National Park Service area addressing the history of the whaling industry and its influence on the economic, social, and environmental history of the United States.The National Park visitor center is located at 33 William Street in downtown New Bedford.
