Preservation Program (WASO) Archeology List of Classified Structures Cultural Landscape Inventory Planning

The Office of Lands, Resources, & Planning Landscape Architecture Support Provides professional landscape architectural consultation and technical assistance to NCR/SO and parks for natural resource protection and planning programs and projects, cultural landscape projects, research and studies, General Management and Development Concept Plans and special studies of natural and cultural landscapes, as well as in the development of partnerships with other agencies or authorities, professional and private organizations, developers and Friends or Adopt-a-Park groups, and provides support for related park and memorial construction or rehabilitation projects or programs and their review and implementation. Also manages and/or participates in interdisciplinary park/NCR project teams. Maintains contacts with national and international professional organizations and other agencies and helps coordinate and provide support for interagency and interprofessional projects and programs. Serves as NCR and ASLA liaison to DOI/HBCU/NPS/ASLA program to improve quality of campus design and maintenance and assist in developing landscape architectural programs and ASLA Ex-Officio representative to US/ICOMOS Board of Trustees. Also provides consultation and assistance to NCR and WASO in regard to international programs, projects and exchange visits.
