Fiscal Year: 1979

Description: Patterson Park - renovated shelter, lake, access roads, restrooms, installed new playground equipment, benches, backstops, lighting, storm drains. Lafayette Square - renovated restrooms and sidewalks, installed new lights, benches, ornamental foundation and urns.

Project Name: Jack Paulsen, P.S. 102, O'Donnell Heights, and Wilkens Avenue Playgrounds

Federal Share: $807,500

Fiscal Year: 1980

Description: Jack Paulsen Playground - replaced backstop, fences, benches, bleachers, goal posts, installed new playground equipment and lights. P.S. 102 Playground - renovated shelter and playlot, installed new playground equipment, repaired sidewalk and curbs. O'Donnell Heights Playground - renovated playground and ballfield, ball court, installed new goals. Wilkens Avenue Playground - renovated ballfield, ball courts, fieldhouse, installed new playground equipment, goals, benches and fences.

Fiscal Year: 1983

Description: Hamilton Recreation Center and Playground - replaced roof, windows and doors, HVAC system, playground, installed new playground equipment, and resurfaced ball court. Wilbur Walters Playground - renovated fieldhouse, tennis court, play area, installed new play equipment, resurfaced basketball court, replaced fences, renovated curbs, paths and ramp. Morrell Park - replaced wading pool, renovated field house, ballfields, play area, basketball court, installed new playground equipment and benches. Ellwood Avenue Playground - renovated totlot, ballfield, ball courts, installed playground equipment and fences. Warwick Avenue Playground - renovated ball court, installed new playground equipment and benches, fences, and repaired sidewalks and stairway. Franklin Square Park - renovated comfort station, walkways, benches, lights, and planted trees.

Description: Installed new playground equipment, renovated ball courts and swimming facility.

Description: An after-school program for children ages through 13 that offered education and recreation activities in three locations - John Eager Howard, Parkview Recreation Wing, and Robert C. Marshall recreation centers.

Project Name: Madison Square Recreation Center

Fiscal Year: 1994

Description: Installed new playground equipment, fences, security lights, renovated ball courts, doom court roof, new ramps from playground to gym and a main entrance, new goals and wall pads for gym, and weight room equipment.

Description: A recreation, physical education, and environmental education program for at-risk youth in southwestern Baltimore recreation centers and Carroll Park.

Fiscal Year: 2001

Description: Recreation center improvements include restrooms, ramp and new doors at entrance, new HVAC. Outside improvements include new walter spray area, bleachers for athletic field, fencing and lights, benches, park pavilion, restrooms and walkways, and resurface 2 basketball courts.

Project Name: Seven Elementary School Playgrounds

Federal Share $1,000,000

Fiscal Year: 2002

Description: Renovation of the following school playgrounds include new playground equipment, safety surface, landscaping, and fencing: Bentalou, Lockerman-Bundy, Steuart Hill, James McHenry, Dallas Nicholas, and Rosemont/Dr. Jackson.
