Summer hours: The summer season starts May 29, 2011 and ends September 11, 2011. The visitor center is open 8 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. everyday. Both Sunset View and Canyon View campgrounds are open. Sunset View has water. The three short rim trails are open Sandal Trail, Aspen Trail and Canyon View Trail. Longer hikes to Betatakin and Keet Seel are available daily. During the summer season we go on Daylight Saving Times which is one hour ahead of Mountain Standard Time (MST). We will be back on Mountain Standard Time (MST) on Sunday November 06, 2011.

Winter hours: The winter season starts October 01, 2011 and ends May 22, 2012. The visitor center is open 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. every day.  Sunset View campground will be open, as will the three self-guided overlook trails Sandal Trail, Aspen Trail and Canyon View Trail . Free guided hikes to Betatakin leave at 10 A.M. on the weekends when weather permits.  Please call for availability (928) 672-2700.To check weather forecast go to NOAA website http://www.noaa.gov/ and type in or paste  Betatakin, Arizona in box below Weather.gov Forecast.

Keet Seel Tour 2011is closed for the season, but will reopen May 29, 2012. We will begin accepting reservations for Keet Seel Tour in 2012.
