HEADQUARTERS - TUPELO, MS: A traveler advisory is in effect for the northern terminus of the Natchez Trace Parkway from Hwy 64 around Collinwood, TN (milepost 378) to Nashville, TN (milepost 444).

The bridges and roads are icy and considered hazardous. Travelers should exercise caution when driving on the Parkway in this area. Additional precipitation is in the extended forecast through Friday, January 22, 2016, with continued icy conditions and possible snow which could affect the road conditions.Current weather information is available through your local radio and television stations, or you can visit the Natchez Trace Parkway Facebook page at www.facebook.com/NatchezTraceParkwayNPS for updates.

The Parkway Visitor Center near Tupelo, MS, is open 9am-4:30pm seven days a week. The visitor center is closed Thanksgiving, December 25th and January 1st.
