The hiking and walking trail at Myrick Creek, at Parkway milepost 145, just south of Highway 429 is closed until further notice. This closure is necessary to protect park visitors. The trail has been damaged as a result of the recent heavy rains and beavers building a dam in the area causing the area to flood and undermine the trail. The trail will be re-opened after repairs can be made. The Parkway regrets any inconvenience this closure may cause.
