Volunteers in the Parks

Volunteers-In-Parks (VIPs) are an important part of National Capital Parks-East. Each year we benefit from the efforts of hundreds of VIPs who assist us with a variety of projects and tasks; including garden and trail maintenance, visitor services and interpretation, historic buildings maintenance and preservation, and archival letter transcription.

For more information on the Volunteers-In-Parks program at National Capital Parks-East, please contact the park’s Volunteer Coordinator at (202) 690-5155 or e-mail us.
