Cooperating Association
EasternNational

Eastern National is a 501(c)3 non-profit cooperating association, operating in more than 150 national parks and other public trusts. They are dedicated to the preservation and use of the parks for the benefit of all Americans, visitors from all nations and future generations.

Eastern National currently operates educational retail outlets in 30 states, from Maine to Florida and the Caribbean. All of the products, programs and publications offered to visitors have a strong educational value. The profits from their activities are donated to the National Park Service and our other partners to further support their educational and interpretive programs.

They have donated over $95 million to their partners. Eastern National's contributions have supported research in cultural and natural resources. They have produced an array of distinguished and informative books, hundreds of folders, and many fine audiovisual programs used in the parks, and in homes and schools. They have purchased key tracts of land needed in parks, provided funds for park libraries, supported new and innovative interpretive programs, and much more.

Stars

Did You Know?
The Freedom Wall is comprised of 4,048 gold stars. Each gold star represents one hundred American service personnel who died or remain missing in the war. The 405,399 American dead and missing from the Second World War are second only to the loss of more than 620,000 Americans during our Civil War.
