How to make a reservation.

Two weeks notice is required for all group reservations Monday thru Friday. Families do not require reservations, but it is recommended they call ahead to check space availability. Schedules and special events may be changed without notice.

Group reservations are required for Cow Milking, Chicken Program, Wagon Ride, History of the Farm, and some special events as announced.

To contact the Park Ranger to make a reservation, call 301-839-1176.

Please have the following information ready:

    Organization/Group Name
    Contact Person and Telephone
Address (street, city, state, ZIP code)
    Program Requested
    Program Date and Time Requested
Audience: Number of Adults, Children (ages or Grade)
    Special Interest or Accommodation

After your request has been received, you will be contacted and be given a confirmation or be asked to modify your request. Our facilities are limited, and we trust you understand that we can't take everyone on the same day! Most of the programs at Oxon Hill Farm are outside, and are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. For example, wagon rides have a limited number of seats, and are inappropriate in rain, ice and snow. We strongly recommend that your group dress appropriately for the weather and that your designated contact person and telephone number be correct in the event that we do need to contact you.

If you determine that your group will be unable to come to Oxon Hill Farm at the time of your confirmed reservation, please inform the Park Ranger at 301-839-1176. A 24 hour telephone answering machine is available on 301-839-1177.
