The public is cordially invited to attend the 66th anniversary Carver Day to commemorate the life of George Washington Carver and the establishment of the national monument in his honor.

Activities are scheduled throughout the day, including storytelling, exhibitors, musical performers, guided tour, interpretive talks, programs for kids, and more.

Special speakers this year include Clifton Taulbert, President and Founder, The Building Community Institute and author of the bestselling memoir, Once Upon A Time We Were Colored. and Peter Duncan Burchard, Carver Scholar and author of George Washington Carver, A Great Soul. Also performing will be gospel blues and guitartist, Reverend John Wilkins. A special showing of a film produced by Tuskegee Univeristy entitled A Genius Remembered, George Washington Carver is scheduled for viewing.
