  • Dipsea Foot Bridge at the Annex Lot is BACK!

    The Dipsea foot bridge at the Annex Lot is back in place. Thanks to all who took the Deer Park Fire Road detour. Taking those extra steps helped to protect Redwood Creek and the endangered juvenile coho.

Bring your family on this slow and moderate walk through the redwood forest on the Fern Creek Trail to Camp Alice Eastwood and back. Discover wild and endangered coho salmon, banana slug trails, the Native American uses of plants, ghost redwoods, and more. Learn about the families who came here by gravity train more than 100 years ago. Appropriate for ages 6 and above. Receive a free Species of the Year coloring book and temporary tattoo! No strollers please. Dress in layers, bring water and a light snack, wear sturdy shoes with good treads.
