Dance Stick

This dance stick was made from a section of old gun barrel that was originally fashioned into a flute with drilled out holes. The barrel is wrapped with smoked, brain tanned buckskin, red wool trade cloth and fur. Pinked buckskin drops are on either end. Ochre paint, cotton print cloth, glass seed beads, cotton thread and feather fragments decorate this dance stick.
