Saburo Sasaki
Saburo, born in 1935, grew up on a truck farm in the San Fernando Valley before his family was sent to Manzanar. He was the marble champion of Block 36, built forts in the firebreaks and occasionally snuck out of camp to swim in the nearby creek.
