Lincoln Home Exterior with Osborn Oldroyd out Front.
1888-1893

Shortly after Robert Lincoln deeded the home to the State of Illinois, the state hired the former tenant, Osborn Oldroyd, as the first live-in caretaker. He is seen standing in front of the Lincoln Home in a bowler hat in this view from the late 1880s.
