Doorknob
1855-1860

Brown marbleized ceramic round knob with metal shank. A doorknob was removed from one of the bedroom doors in the Lincoln Home by a former caretaker. After his death, the U.S. Government, who purchased his collection, returned the knob to the Lincoln Home.
