Charles Ridgely

During a lengthy trip abroad in 1846-1848, Charles Ridgely (1830-1872) and his family lived for extended periods of time in Paris. During this time, the teenager’s education was not neglected, and he attended school. This notebook, written in French, records his chemistry lessons, with most notes about French chemist Alfred Ronseleur's (d. 1879) experiments in electroplating.
