Figures on the Boardwalk

In the late 1890s, Helen Morris Tucker Ridgely kept a photo album recording activities and travels of family and friends. Among the excursions she documented was a visit to the boardwalk in Atlantic City. The heavy dresses of the tourists indicate that it was a chilly and windy day at the beach.
