In an album with snapshots dating 1895-1902, the children of Capt. John Ridgely and Helen West Stewart Ridgely are recorded in scenes of family and friends both at home and in wide-ranging travels. Among the places visited were Richmond and Newport News, Virginia, Atlantic City New Jersey, and Havana, Cuba. Several views show an excursion to Watch Hill, Rhode Island in May 1902, a beach front community on Block Island Sound that was just then becoming a popular resort.
