Homemade storage chest or "show box" made of 5/8" thick plywood painted "Eisenhower green." Chest holds show cattle items and used to transport such items to cattle shows.

Show Stick
c 1950s-1960s
Adjustable two-piece aluminum shaft with white plastic grip, blunt nose and small 1/2" spike set 2" from tip at right angle to shaft, used for showing cattle. The person who is leading the calf sets up the calf's front and back feet by pushing with the end of the stick at the front part of the hoof to make the calf move its foot backward or pulling with the spike at the back part of the hoof below the dewclaws (two toe-looking appendages that extend from the leg) to move its foot forward.
