Many people, including Bessie Johnson claimed that Albert Johnson's health was greatly improved by his exploits into the desert. As a 27-year old train crash victim, Johnson was given only a few weeks to live. Yet, this photo shows not only a healthy, but seemingly happy Albert Johnson.
