Bit
1930s

Albert Johnson worked a grapevine motif into many objects at his ranch in Grapevine Canyon. This bit and other fancy tack, are not typically found on a working ranch. It may have been used in parades. Johnson and the Death Valley Ranch encapsulated both elements, a working ranch as well as a decorative vacation retreat.
