Drying Corn

A family is preparing corn for storage. A woman spreads it out on canvas to dry, the man pours it into a yucca basket, and a young girl carries the baby in her shawl. This work was commissioned by Bandelier National Monument under the Works Progress Administration [WPA] program.
Casein paint, masonite.
