Smeared Indented Corrugated
Ancestral Pueblo
Pueblo IV AD 1350 - 1400
Corrugated pottery [where the potter did not smooth out the coils as she built the vessel] was made for hundreds of years throughout the Southwest. These pots were generally used for cooking as they could be placed directly on a fire to heat the contents.
