A collection of wine, water, champagne and sherbert glasses illustrate Mrs. Walker's excellent taste and how she entertained. She had friends over for elegant luncheons and dinners. In 1925 Mary McLeod Bethune was feted at a luncheon in her honor at the Walker home.
