Chippendale, side; pierced and carved scrolled splat, cord and tassel, gadroon moulding at base of splat; shaped toprail with ascanthus leaves and shell; carved rolled side-scrolled ears, stop fluting on stiles; red damask slip seat; shaped seat rails, shells on front rail, cabriole forlegs, acanthus knees, ball and claw feet; plain legs and back feet.
