Moving In
The history collection of the National Capital Region contains many treasures, from the smallest figurine to large furniture pieces.
| Larger items were stacked on specially treated shelves and covered with plastic. The shelving unit itself was then covered with plastic (see picture to the right). These tactics allowed for steady temperature and humidity controls and also protected the objects from water damage in the event of a fire alarm. |  |
