For several years, most of the archeology collection has been stored on a single shelving unit. This unit was anchored both to the walls and to the floor of the building. Our first task was to empty the shelves, moving all of the boxes onto the tier racks pictured elsewhere in this website. This was no small task as there were nearly 1000 boxes on the unit when we began.
