National Park Service Museum Resource Center
The Museum Resource Center (MRCE) is responsible for the care and preservation of museum objects from National Park Service park units in and around Washington D.C. that are held in trust for the public. The Center also provides both direct and indirect support in areas that affect the direct health of artifacts. NPS curatorial staff includes specialists in collections management, curation, and preservation. MRCE also houses the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Collection — a collection of objects and materials left by the public at the memorial.
The Museum Resource Center is not open to the public. Collections are available to researchers by appointment only. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.
