Plan A Field Trip
Morristown National Historical Park offers a variety of activities suitable for visiting educational groups. Both self-guided and ranger-led experiences are available, although staff limitations are such that park personnel cannot be provided for all group visits. The information below is intended for groups planning either a self-guided or ranger-led trip. Jockey Hollow Visitor Center, This facility offers exhibits such as a full scale replica soldier hut and a 15-minute video, Restroom faciities and a sales area are also available. The ranger at the information desk wil be pleased to assist you and answer questions. The Washington's Headquarters Museum is located at 30 Washington Place, Morristown, NJ. The museum offers a 27-minute film, three exhibit rooms, and a sales area. Guided tours of the Ford Mansion/Washington's Headquarters are offered at 10 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM and 4 PM daily. Tours are limited to a maximum of twenty visitors per tour--tickets for the tours are issued first come, first served. The Museum is open daily. 9am to 5pm.
Entrance Fees: The park entrance fee is $4 per adult at Washington's Headquarters--there is no fee at Jockey Hollow.
