Monocacy Museum Scavenger Hunt

Get in the Game!

Play Monocacy’s new, high-tech, interactive mobile museum scavenger hunt. Learn about the Battle of Monocacy as you hunt for answers in the park museum. Challenge your friends and family to see who can solve the most clues!

Here’s how it works:

Each question is texted to your phone, along with clues to help you figure out the answers. One you think you have solved it, type in your answer and if you are right, you will receive a text message with the next question.

Are you ready to play?

  1. Send the text message “monocacy” to 728647 (SCVNGR).
  2. Your will receive a text message with your team code followed by another text with your first clue.
  3. Text back your answer. If you are stuck on a question, text “hint” for a little help or “skip” to go to the next question!
  4. When you are done playing text “score” to learn how many points you earned and your rank among other teams!
  5. To end the game text “quit”
