Monocacy National Battlefield Auto Tour A self-guided auto tour, using public roads, is the best method for getting around the battlefield. Five walking trails provide additional opportunities to get out of your car and enjoy a more contemplative experience.
A note to our visitors and bus tour groups: Please be respectful of our park neighbors and do not park cars or tour buses in residential driveways or church parking lots. Please use designated visitor parking areas shown on the map at left and on your brochure. Thank you. |

Did You Know?
The "Y" at Monocacy Junction, completed in 1830, allows trains to turn around. It was the first of its kind in the United States, and is still in use today.
