Ponds

In addition to the river and several streams, there is one man-made pond in the park. It is located next to Gambrill Mill on the Gambrill Farm, and was constructed while the farm was in private hands to provide water for livestock. This pond is home to a variety of fish and amphibian species, and is also a refuge for ducks and geese.
