Archeology Historic Preservation

 
There are 51 historic structures at Monocacy National Battlefield, along with a wide variety of archeological sites and historic landscape features. The battlefield's Facilities Management and Cultural & Natural Resource divisions work hard to manage, protect, and maintain the park's resources so that future generations can continue to enjoy and learn from them.

    Archeology

    Archeological research helps identify resources to aid in in their appropriate management, protection, and interpretation.

    In 2020, the National Park Service completed a plaster preservation project at the Best and Worthington farms.
