  • Access to Moores Creek Bridge Closed for Trail Maintenance

    Due to recent storms, the trail leading up to and beyond Moores Creek Bridge has been washed out due to flooding, making passage unsafe. Access to the bridge will be closed for the next couple of weeks. Please call the park for further updates.

There are many ways to donate to Moores Creek National Battlefield. You can donate your time as a volunteer or cash/check donation. Regardless of what form it takes, your donation is greatly appreciated!

All donations to Moores Creek National Battlefield, stay within the park and are used to support visitor related programs such as special events, living history demonstrations, and other interpretive/education activities.

Visitors to the park can give direct cash or check gifts through our donation boxes. Donations can be made to the park via a check made out to "National Park Service" and mailed to:

Roosevelt

Moores Creek National Military Park, along with other battlefields, was administered by the War Department until 1933 when President Franklin Roosevelt transferred them to the National Park Service within the Department of Interior.
