Inclement Weather and Park Closure
Due to incoming wintry weather and expected icy road conditions as well as lack of road treatment on secondary roads, the park will close at 12:00 pm Tuesday, February 11, 2014 and will remain closed for Wednesday, February 12, 2014. More »
There are many ways to donate to Moores Creek National Battlefield. You can donate your time as a volunteer or cash/check donation. Regardless of what form it takes, your donation is greatly appreciated!
All donations to Moores Creek National Battlefield, stay within the park and are used to support visitor related programs such as special events, living history demonstrations, and other interpretive/education activities.
Visitors to the park can give direct cash or check gifts through our donation boxes. Donations can be made to the park via a check made out to "National Park Service" and mailed to:

Did You Know?
Moores Creek National Military Park, along with other battlefields, was administered by the War Department until 1933 when President Franklin Roosevelt transferred them to the National Park Service within the Department of Interior.
