Camp Verde, AZ –Montezuma Castle National Monument

WESTERN NATIONAL PARKS ASSOCIATION TO HOST KACHINA HOUSE AT MONTEZUMA CASTLE

The owners of the well-respected Kachina House in Sedona will be at Montezuma Castle National Monument in Camp Verde, AZ on Saturday, October 17th. The event, sponsored by Western National Parks Association, will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Serving both the wholesale and retail trade, the three women who own Kachina House glow when sharing their love for and knowledge about Native American culture, its people and the crafts they produce.The owners of Kachina House are committed to the preservation of Native culture and to sharing their knowledge of the art and history of Native peoples. They are anxious to pass along what they have been taught by their Native American friends, to collectors and anyone with an interest in preserving the culture and crafts of Native peoples.

This special program is offered through Western National Parks Association, the non-profit education partner for over 67 national parks and monuments across the West.All proceeds from sales through WNPA outlets go toward programs, products and services that enrich visitor experience.

Regular admission fees apply but there is no additional charge for the special program. All Federal recreation passes are accepted, including the annual, access, senior and military pass;children age 15 and under are no fee.

The National Park Service celebrates its 100th Anniversary in 2016. Over 20,000 National Park Service employees care for America's 408 national parks and monuments and create close-to-home recreational and cultural opportunities.
