Description: This showy plant grows well in dry, mesic, or wet conditions. It is a very attractive plant that blooms for a good part of the summer. It grows to be 3 to 5 feet and has a yellow flower with a dark gray center.

Planting: Sow unstratified seeds in the fall and stratified seeds in the spring. Transplants can also be used in the fall or spring. It should flower by its second year.
