Mesa Verde Announces Recovery Act Projects
The National Park Service (NPS) announced today the nearly 800 projects across the country, totaling $750 million with funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). For Mesa Verde National Park, in southwestern Colorado, this means over $14.6 million for six projects.

Recruiting Volunteer Graffiti Busters in Mesa Verde National Park
As part of a nationwide effort to improve National Public Lands, Mesa Verde is recruiting a cadre of “Graffiti Busters” to remove graffiti from rocks along the Petroglyph Point Trail. Local residents can join the largest annual coast-to-coast, single-day volunteer restoration effort for Americas Public lands.
