The National Park Service (NPS) is planning to undertake Phase V of the preservation of Meridian Hill Park. The NPS is proposing to continue repairs to the exposed aggregate concrete throughout the park, stabilize historic features, and install an American Disability Act (ADA) accessible entrance into the lower level of the park.
Meridian Hill Park Renovation
Meridian Hill Park is currently undergoing a $6.2 million renovation which began in 2003 and will end in 2010. The work is being done is phases so that sections of the park can remain open to the public during construction.
