River Otters on Labor Day

Description

Volunteer Extraordinaire Thomas Burford captured a family of river otters making their way downstream on Redwood Creek on September 2, 2013. Listen to the comments of the visitors on Bridge 1 in Muir Woods, and you might hear the river otter mama. Not much is known about river otters. If you see them, you can log in your observations at www.riverotterecologyproject.org. This will help researchers track their behavior so they can be better protected. Thanks Thomas!
